Subaru WRX turned into Factory Five Racing 818S Kit Car for sale – $25000

Subaru WRX turned into Factory Five Racing 818S Kit Car for sale – $25000

This kit car must be a load of fun to drive due to its super low curb weight, and with a Subaru WRX platform you get all the performance and reliability of a Japanese proven vehicle. And as an added bonus there are tons of aftermarket parts for the WRX to make it go even faster.

Here is what was posted on Craiglist:

$25,000 – Saves you over $7k if you wanted to duplicate this car and saves you over 250 man hours of labor! Drive it now and you don’t have to wait a year to put it together!

For sale is an absolute rocketship of a car. Putting down 341 hp and 390 lb/ft of torque TO THE WHEELS and weighing in at 2,000 lbs. Yes, two THOUSAND pounds. That’s 5.86 pounds per HP. To give you a reference, that’s more powerful than a C6 Z06 (6.2 lb/hp), Porsche 911 GT2 (6.1 lb/hp), Shelby GT350 (7.20 lb/hp), and the Challenger Hellcat (6.29 lb/hp).

PLUS, it can handle its own on a road course.

This is chassis #67. It was originally titled and registered in Arizona in March 2014 and I’ve been driving it around since. I have put roughly 3,000 miles on it since completion.

Below, I have provided a link to the build thread on the Factory Five Forums website, an excel spreadsheet showing the parts on the vehicle and their costs, and a link to Photobucket with some higher resolution pictures.

What it needs:
Fiberglass work to prep for paint/wrap/dip
Finish interior (painted, carpet, etc)

Or, you can leave it is and drive with a permanent smile on your face!
