Race 1 – Gabriele Torelli confirms the man to beat in the first of the MINI Challenge on the Paul Ricard circuit. The MINI Milano driver by Progetto E20 dominates the French race by imposing its own pace from the green light to the checkered flag. The only ones able to keep the pace of the Emilia are Luca Rangoni (Turbosport & Autoclub by AC Racing Technology) and Gustavo Sandrucci (Cascioli by Melatini Racing), respectively second and third on the podium of the French track. Always among the protagonists Alessio Alcidi (MINI Rome by CAAL Racing) who manages to snatch an important fourth place useful for ranking purposes.

Race 2 – After the deluge that hit the Paul Ricard circuit, a change of time for the second MINI Challenge race. Ten minutes of Safety Car make the second race a real “sprint race”. At the green flag Tobia Zarpellon tries to take advantage of pole position with Eduino Menapace and Francesco Neri chasing. The MINI Italia guest driver takes the second position and sets off in pursuit of Zarpellon who, however, manages to lengthen. Behind them is a close fight between Torelli, Rangoni, Sandrucci and Filippo Maria Zanin who sew up the tear with Menapace and pass it after a thrilling battle. But under the checkered flag is Tobia Zarpellon (Ceccato Motors by CZ Bassano RT) to triumph in the wet French ahead of a surprising Francesco Neri, on the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Pro from MINI Italia. On the third step of the podium salt Gabriele Torelli (MINI Milan by Porgetto E20) earns important points for the general classification.
