Life-size RV made from Lego Bricks – Video

Life-size RV made from Lego Bricks – Video

This is a life-size recreational vehicle and it’s made from no less than 215,158 Lego pieces.

A team of twelve professional Lego builders with a lot of passion and free time have established a new Guinness World Record for the “largest caravan built with interlocking plastic bricks.” They worked for no less than 12 weeks to put together a whopping 215,158 Lego individual pieces to create this camper which is 3.6 meters long and 2.2 meters tall and as you can see it has a functional interior cabin that looks like something you would build in Minecraft.

More than 1,000 man hours were necessary for the ambitious project that’s actually based on a real teardrop-styled caravan and comes with a functional sink with running water, bed, electric lights, seating, toothbrushes, as well as simulated cooking facilities, fridge and even a chess set.

The Lego-made RV will be on display together with its real counterpart until tomorrow at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham, UK. It will also be showcased at the upcoming Lego fan event BRICK 2015 (October 29 – November 1) as well as at London’s Excel (December 10 – 13).
