2024 Rezvani Beast With 1000 Horsepower Revealed

2024 Rezvani Beast With 1000 Horsepower Revealed

In the heart of California, a company named Rezvani has taken the automotive world by storm with its latest invention, the Beast. This new vehicle is a modification of the C8 Chevrolet Corvette, equipped with features that seem straight out of a spy movie, including door handles that give a shock, glass that can stop bullets, a mechanism to release smoke, and an engine that boasts 1,000 horsepower.

Under the hood, the Beast shares its roots with the Corvette Stingray, sporting a 6.2-liter V8 engine. However, Rezvani has significantly upped the ante by adding two turbochargers, enabling the engine to produce a staggering 1,000 hp and 878 pound-feet of torque. While specific details about the engine enhancements are scarce, it’s known that this powerhouse is mated to an eight-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission, complete with paddle shifters for manual control.

The Beast’s performance figures are equally impressive, with Rezvani claiming it can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, and cover a quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds. A significant factor in its swift acceleration is the full carbon-fiber body, which reduces the car’s weight to 2,960 pounds. While retaining some visual elements of the C8 Corvette, such as the prominent side intakes and detachable roof, the Beast introduces a softer design by smoothing out the Corvette’s edgy lines. The back of the car features a set of stacked quad exhaust tips and a large diffuser, enhancing its aggressive appearance. Butterfly doors add to the supercar’s allure.

Inside, the Beast borrows elements from Chevrolet but with notable modifications. The central column of buttons dividing the seats has been removed, and the steering wheel features a cut-off design at the top, inspired by Formula 1 racing. Rezvani’s emblem takes the place of the Corvette badge on the airbag, and the dashboard is finished with new upholstery that might seem a bit unusual to some.

For those who fancy themselves as modern-day spies, Rezvani offers a “007” package for an additional $45,000. This package includes a variety of gadgets such as gas masks, thermal night vision, protection against electromagnetic pulses, and even an intercom system, among others. Body armor for the car is available for an extra $55,000, providing protection with bullet-proof glass and exterior armor, though this might impact the vehicle’s performance.

The starting price for the Beast is set at $485,000, which increases to $585,000 with the inclusion of the 007 and armor packages. Despite the hefty price tag, obtaining one of these cars could be challenging, as only 20 are slated for production.
