C63 AMG

The new Mercedes-AMG C 63 Cabriolet combines an intensive open-air ambience with the AMG 4.0-litre V8 engine to create an exhilarating performance experience. The biturbo engine developed in Affalterbach is available in two output ratings with 350 kW (476 hp) or 375 kW (510 hp) and provides performance on a par with a sports car. Flared wheel arches at the front and rear, the wide track and the large wheels underscore the powerful looks. The agile longitudinal and lateral dynamics come courtesy of the sophisticated AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive adjustable damping, as well as the rear-axle limited-slip differential.

Performance-oriented automotive enthusiasts can enjoy the largest selection in the market segment with the Mercedes-AMG C-Class: it is now available in a total of twelve versions as Saloon, Estate, Coupé and Cabriolet; with a choice of V6 biturbo engine and all-wheel drive or V8 biturbo engine in two output ratings, rear-wheel drive and rear-axle limited-slip differential. “The C-Class is a decisive factor in our company’s success. The new combination of intensive open-air ambience and powerful V8 engine is unique in the segment and perfectly supplements our large C-Class range”, says Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. Extensive know-how from motorsport and the passion of the AMG engineers, designers and product managers form the basis for the emotive driving experience with the new performance Cabriolet.

Unique offering in the segment with V8 biturbo engine

In its competitive field the new C 63 Cabriolet is exceptional in every respect, being the only vehicle in the segment to boast an 8-cylinder biturbo engine. Mercedes-AMG thus meets the wishes of those customers who desire a combination of a highly emotive, unmistakable engine sound and torquey power delivery. The driver also benefits from the unrivalled performance: the C 63 S Cabriolet accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, the C 63 Cabriolet in 4.2 seconds. The top speed is 250 km/h (electronically limited; 280 km/h with AMG Driver’s package)

C43 AMG

Mercedes-AMG is adding two attractive new models to the sporty C-Class line-up in the guise of the C 43 4MATIC Cabriolet and the C 43 4MATIC Coupé. With the powerful 270 kW (367 hp) 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine, 9G‑TRONIC automatic transmission with shortened shift times, AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive and model-specific suspension, both newcomers boast the brand’s hallmark Driving Performance.

Mercedes-AMG is extending its offering with two further models in the C-Class performance family: “The AMG product portfolio is continually growing, making the world of Driving Performance more diverse than ever. We are continuing to expand at a fast pace and, with the new C 43 4MATIC Cabriolet and Coupé, we are offering a younger target group yet more alternatives for discovering the fascinating world of AMG”, says Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.

With its maximum power of 270 kW (367 hp) and peak torque of 520 newton metres, the 3.0-litre V6 biturbo engine on board the new models can deliver impressive performance: the sprint from a standing start to 100 km/h is completed in 4.8 seconds (Cabriolet) and 4.7 seconds (Coupé), with the vehicles’ speed electronically limited at 250 km/h.

The agile driving experience is mainly thanks to the standard-fit AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive with rear-biased torque distribution, the AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension with adaptive adjustable damping, the newly developed front axle, the stiff elastokinematics and the highly precise steering.
