You Will Not Believe MG’s New Cyber X Concept SUV!

You Will Not Believe MG’s New Cyber X Concept SUV!

MG has just introduced the Cyber X, a bold new electric concept sport utility vehicle at the Shanghai Auto Show in China. As the second entry in the Cyber series after the Cyberster, which debuted in November 2023, the Cyber X brings a fresh, edgy design language to the electric vehicle space.

Designed by renowned Slovak automotive designer Jozef Kabaň—known for his past work with Volkswagen, BMW, and Rolls-Royce—the Cyber X stands out with its sharp lines, matte black body, and pop-up headlights that disappear into the body when not in use. The floating roof look is achieved with darkened A- and B-pillars, while its two-tone silver and black five-spoke wheels add to the futuristic vibe.

Inside, MG teamed up with smartphone manufacturer Oppo to develop an advanced digital cockpit and connectivity system. It reflects a growing trend of blending tech and mobility for a smarter user experience.

Although MG has not released technical specifications or pricing yet, it has confirmed the Cyber X will officially launch next year. MG is planning to release eight electric vehicles within the next two years. In 2025 alone, two new models are expected alongside the Cyber X: a larger five-seater sport utility vehicle and a compact electric sedan.
