You Have Never Seen These Chrysler Concepts in Action Before
Chrysler is honoring its one hundred year journey with a heartfelt nod to the visionary vehicles that helped shape its identity. The company just released a new episode in its Century of Innovation social media video series called “Legendary Innovation,” which puts a spotlight on some of the most iconic concept cars in its history. These are not just showpieces — they are the kinds of vehicles that pushed boundaries, introduced new technology, and sparked imagination.
From the sleek 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt to the sculpted lines of the 1998 Chrysler Chronos, this episode brings together dream machines that represent the future-thinking spirit of Chrysler across multiple decades. Other memorable appearances include the 1953 Chrysler Special, the 1963 Turbine Car that ran on jet fuel, and the elegant 1995 Chrysler Atlantic that channeled art deco vibes into modern design. What makes this episode even more special is that the press was recently invited to take a hands-on drive of these very vehicles on June 4 at Detroit’s Belle Isle — a fitting place to celebrate a brand so closely tied to the city’s automotive heartbeat.
But Chrysler is not just reminiscing — it is celebrating with the people who kept the brand alive. This summer, Chrysler will host several events honoring its fans, from the early adopters of the original 1924 Chrysler Six to the current-day drivers of the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica. Look out for Chrysler’s presence at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals from July 11 to July 13 in Pennsylvania, where nearly 3,000 Chrysler and Mopar vehicles will take over the showgrounds. Then, on August 2, the Gilmore Car Museum in Michigan will showcase historic Chrysler vehicles during a lively cruise-in and the fan-favorite Red Barns Spectacular car show. Finally, Chrysler will roll into the legendary Woodward Dream Cruise on August 16 — the world’s largest car cruise event, held in Metro Detroit.
To keep the excitement going, Chrysler also kicked off its Century of Innovation sales event in June, giving customers another reason to celebrate. And for fans who want to wear their pride, there is a brand new 100th anniversary collection of Chrysler-branded merchandise available now at collection.Chrysler.com.
