Why the 2025 GR Supra A90 Final Edition Is a Driver’s Dream
The 2025 Toyota GR Supra A90 Final Edition takes everything enthusiasts love about the GR Supra and dials it up for one last, unforgettable send-off. Developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing, this limited-run model is more than just a high-performance coupe—it is a love letter to fans of precision driving, motorsports heritage, and pure driving excitement. Only 300 examples will be built for the world, making it one of the most exclusive versions ever produced.
Under the hood sits a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine, now enhanced to deliver 441 DIN horsepower and 571 Newton-meters of torque. That is a serious upgrade from the standard model, made possible by a revised intake air path, new engine calibration, and a low-back-pressure catalytic converter. The result? A top speed of 275 kilometers per hour and an engine note that is deeper and more aggressive, thanks to Akrapovič titanium exhaust pipes.
The powertrain is not the only thing that got a serious update. Toyota’s engineers leaned into motorsports experience to refine every aspect of the vehicle’s dynamics. The KW dampers, which allow 16 stages of rebound and 12 stages of compression tuning, are straight out of race car development. The strengthened front stabilizers, enhanced front control arm bushings, and revised wheel camber angles create razor-sharp handling and cornering precision. Even the electric power steering has been tuned specifically for the A90 Final Edition to create a more direct, confident driving feel.
Braking performance was given just as much attention. Larger Brembo brakes with high-friction pads and 395-millimeter front discs now bring the car to a halt with even greater authority. Stainless steel mesh brake hoses reduce expansion during hard braking, improving overall feel and responsiveness.
To keep temperatures in check during spirited driving or even track use, Toyota added a new sub radiator and larger differential cooling fans. A baffle plate in the oil tank ensures proper oil distribution under high g-forces. These kinds of changes show just how deep Toyota Gazoo Racing went to deliver a car that performs under pressure.
Aerodynamics also received a race-inspired makeover. The body features new carbon fiber parts like front wheel arch flaps, front canards, and a ducktail rear spoiler, all designed to increase downforce and optimize airflow. A new swan-neck rear wing, similar to what you would find on the GR Supra GT4 race car, tops off the rear end, improving rear-end stability at high speed. Even the carbon fiber hood duct has a removable element to allow for extra cooling if needed.
Inside, the A90 Final Edition makes no compromises. The RECARO Podium CF full-bucket seats are finished in Alcantara® and paired with bold red seat belts, offering excellent support without sacrificing comfort. Red stitching, carbon fiber accents, and a driver-focused layout create an environment that feels as serious as the machine it belongs to.
Every part of the car has been tuned and tested with one goal in mind—to build the most motorsports-focused GR Supra ever made available directly to customers. The knowledge gained from racing the GR Supra GT4 globally is present in the structural enhancements, aerodynamic tuning, and power delivery of this car.
If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, the 2025 GR Supra A90 Final Edition will not just be a car—it will be a memory, a collector’s piece, and a celebration of Toyota Gazoo Racing’s philosophy that roads build people, and people build cars.
