This Nissan Patrol NISMO Packs 495 HP—Here’s Why It Is Built Only for the Middle East

Nissan has officially unveiled the all-new Patrol NISMO, and it is everything you would expect from a vehicle tuned with motorsport DNA and built specifically for the Middle East. With input taken directly from customers in the region, this SUV combines power, precision, and bold design to meet the expectations of drivers who want more than just capability—they want excitement.

At the heart of this beast is a specially tuned twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 495 horsepower and 700 Newton-meters of torque when in Sport Mode. That is not just impressive—it is the highest output ever seen from the VR35DDTT engine anywhere in the world. Built at Nissan’s Iwaki Plant in Japan, the engine is hand-assembled and marked with a commemorative metal plate, a detail that showcases the level of craftsmanship that goes into every Patrol NISMO.

Performance upgrades go far beyond raw power. The recalibrated 9-speed automatic transmission, enhanced steering system, and advanced suspension with NISMO-tuned electronic dampers make every drive feel like a race day. Air diffusers, new bumpers, and aerodynamic tweaks ensure high-speed stability and sharper handling. Whether you are charging up a mountain pass or taking on desert roads, the Patrol NISMO is ready to deliver.

The exterior has been reimagined with NISMO’s signature V-Motion grille, layered rear diffusers, and bold NISMO red accents. A new rear spoiler improves downforce, while the Formula E-style rear fog lamp adds a motorsport touch. Drivers can choose from five paint options including the stealthy NISMO-exclusive Stealth Gray, each paired with contrasting black roof choices that emphasize the SUV’s aggressive stance.

Inside, the Patrol NISMO carries on the performance story with a black-and-red interior, carbon fiber-inspired trim, and sporty finishes. The seating features suede-style materials and firm bolstering for stability during spirited driving. Red seat belts, a red start button, and aluminum pedals drive home the racing vibe. Active Sound Enhancement and a specially tuned exhaust system deliver a deep, throaty soundtrack that completes the experience.

Rolling on 22-inch forged aluminum wheels developed with RAYS, this SUV is not just about performance—it is about presence. The wheels are 23 percent lighter than the base model, which improves both ride quality and brake cooling.

The new Patrol NISMO joins a three-model lineup in the Middle East: the standard Patrol, the adventurous Patrol PRO-4X, and now the sport-focused NISMO. It will officially hit dealerships in July 2025 across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and surrounding markets.
