Nissan Skyline R34 Crushed

Said high speed crusher, but man that really took its time crushing that car, now would it be possible instead of that machine just slowly crushing that car, they could just raise it to it’s highest level then just drop it, or is it by doing it this way it does a better job flattening the car?????
