Meet the 2025 Wagoneer COV: Jeep’s Tactical SUV Built for Real Action

Meet the 2025 Wagoneer COV: Jeep’s Tactical SUV Built for Real Action

Jeep is stepping into new territory with the 2025 Wagoneer Command Operations Vehicle, a purpose-built machine designed for law enforcement, VIP protection, and emergency response. Built with input from multiple levels of government, this specially equipped version of the Wagoneer is not just another big sport utility vehicle—it is a mobile operations center ready for action.

From the outside, you might just see a rugged and premium full-size sport utility vehicle. But look closer and you will find an arsenal of specialized equipment. The factory-installed upfit package includes a fully integrated lighting and electrical system, a set of Whelen front and rear visor lightbars, grille and side-mounted lights, plus a rear window interior lightbar. There is also a siren system with a speaker mounted behind the grille and a dedicated control setup inside. Cargo space can be configured for secure storage of weapons and tactical gear, while the wiring harness is tailored to support mission-critical tech like radar, radio, modem, printer, and more.

Inside, there is room for eight people, with leather seating and three-zone climate control. Safety was clearly a major priority here, with Jeep packing in more than 130 standard safety and driver assistance features. That includes intersection collision assist, blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition, forward collision alerts with automatic braking, night vision with a 10-inch head-up display, and a 360-degree camera system.

Performance-wise, this Wagoneer is no slouch. It is powered by Stellantis’ 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged Hurricane inline-six engine that puts out 420 horsepower. It accelerates from zero to sixty miles per hour in 6.3 seconds. That is impressive for a vehicle this large, and the standard Quadra-Lift air suspension with automatic load leveling helps it stay smooth even when fully loaded.

You also get features like remote start, remote lock, stolen vehicle support, and performance monitoring through health reports.

No pricing has been shared yet, but government agencies can place orders now. If you are looking to upgrade your operational fleet, the Wagoneer COV might be the perfect fit.
