“Lynk & Co 10 EM-P: A Tesla Rival With a Built-In Fridge?

The all-new Lynk and Co 10 EM-P is more than just another plug-in hybrid vehicle—it is a serious statement. Freshly unveiled in China, this sleek flagship sedan comes packed with a combination of electrified power, luxury comfort, and smart technology that could seriously shake up the global market.

At first glance, the 10 EM-P already stands out. It stretches 5,050 millimeters long and sits on a wheelbase of 3,005 millimeters, making it slightly longer and taller than its sibling, the Z10. The exterior looks futuristic with sharp detailing and a presence that feels upscale without trying too hard. You can choose from bold new color options like a light purple hue, a deep gold tone, and a warm beige, which all give it a modern, refined vibe.

Inside the cabin, it is loaded. Passengers are treated to heated, ventilated, and massaging seats—front and back. Even the rear seats recline electrically, and yes, there is a small fridge built right in. Not a joke. It can chill your drinks to negative 6 degrees Celsius or warm up your snacks to 50 degrees Celsius. Add in a premium Harman Kardon audio system with 23 speakers and you have got yourself a true rolling lounge.

The tech is equally impressive. A roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and the G-Pilot H7 advanced driver assistance system allow for highway hands-free driving, urban navigation, and self-parking—all without the need for high-definition mapping. That is next-level autonomy, especially considering it is powered by Nvidia’s Drive Thor-U chip offering around 700 trillion operations per second.

Performance-wise, the Lynk and Co 10 EM-P pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with dual electric motors, one in front and one in the rear. Together, they produce a total output of 523 horsepower and 755 newton-meters of torque. That gets you from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.1 seconds. Smooth, fast, and still fuel-efficient, clocking in at about 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers.

And if you are worried about electric range, do not be. There are two lithium iron phosphate battery options: an 18.4 kilowatt-hour version that delivers up to 120 kilometers of pure electric range and a larger 38.2 kilowatt-hour pack that stretches that to around 240 kilometers. Fast charging from 30 percent to 80 percent takes only 15 minutes.

This car brings so much to the table: high performance, serious electric range, impressive design, and features you typically only see in vehicles twice its price. It is priced in China at about 200,000 yuan, or just under 28,000 dollars. Lynk and Co plans to bring it to global markets by 2026, and when it does, it might just be one of the most complete electrified sedans available.

If you are into performance plug-in hybrid vehicles or tech-packed luxury sedans, the Lynk and Co 10 EM-P is worth keeping an eye on.
