Is This the Boldest Stelvio Yet? 2027 Redesign Revealed!

Is This the Boldest Stelvio Yet? 2027 Redesign Revealed!

After being on the road for 9 years, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is finally getting a full redesign. The Italian brand is preparing to usher in a new generation of its premium compact crossover, and while the real thing is still under wraps, some digital renderings offer a fairly realistic idea of what to expect.

Based on recent spy shots, these illustrations suggest a sharper and more muscular version of the Stelvio. At the front, the iconic Alfa Romeo grille takes center stage, flanked by a new split-headlamp layout. The daytime running lights sit higher up, while the main beams are positioned within the bumper creases. A large center air intake and sculpted hood lines help the crossover maintain an aggressive presence.

On the side, you will notice flush door handles and broader rear haunches. The redesigned roofline is more arched toward the back and appears slightly extended, giving the vehicle a sleeker, more aerodynamic stance. Other visible elements include thick rear pillars, horizontal tail lights, black cladding at the base, and wheels that fans will find familiar.

Under the skin, the upcoming Stelvio rides on Stellantis’ STLA Large Longitudinal platform, which it shares with the latest Dodge Charger and Maserati Levante. Expect both electric and hybrid variants, and some rumors even point to a possible V6 engine option. The full powertrain lineup will be confirmed closer to the launch.

If recent speculation holds true, we could see an official unveiling sometime in 2026, with the model arriving in North America for the 2027 model year.
