Enyaq RS Electric SUV: 0-100 km/h in 5.4 Seconds! Full Breakdown

Enyaq RS Electric SUV: 0-100 km/h in 5.4 Seconds! Full Breakdown

Škoda has just turned up the volume on its electric SUV lineup with the launch of the new Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS. These two are not only the most dynamic versions of the Enyaq family but also the fastest-accelerating and fastest-charging production models from the brand. And yes, they are neck and neck with the Elroq RS when it comes to performance.

Under the sleek bodywork, both versions are equipped with two electric motors that together produce 250 kilowatts of power. The all-wheel drive setup helps the car sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.4 seconds. With a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour, these are not your average electric family cars.

One of the biggest upgrades comes in the form of charging capabilities. Thanks to a new high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 84 kilowatt-hours (79 kilowatt-hours net), the Enyaq RS models can now charge at speeds up to 185 kilowatts. That means going from 10 percent to 80 percent charge takes just 26 minutes when connected to a DC fast charger. On a regular alternating current setup at 11 kilowatts, a full charge takes around 8 hours and 30 minutes. There is also a cool new feature – bidirectional charging, which lets your car battery power your home when needed.

Comfort and performance go hand in hand here. A revised sports chassis lowers the front axle by 15 millimeters and the rear by 10 millimeters, delivering a more planted stance. Sports tires and progressive steering are standard, while optional Dynamic Chassis Control brings adjustable dampers with 15 levels of stiffness, allowing drivers to go from sporty to cushion-soft with just a few clicks.

Visually, the Enyaq RS models make a bold statement. The front bumper is more aggressive, RS badging is proudly displayed, and alloy wheels are available up to 21 inches. The blacked-out accents, gloss black Tech-Deck Face, and light strip on the grille give the SUV a futuristic look. The LED Matrix headlights and rear light animations even come with welcome and goodbye sequences.

Step inside, and the RS Lounge and RS Suite interiors offer a sporty yet sophisticated vibe. Suedia microfiber or leather upholstery is paired with contrast stitching in lime green or grey. The front seats are sporty, heated, and come with integrated headrests. The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable and includes memory, lumbar, and massage functions as standard. There is also an optional Maxx package for the front passenger seat to get the same luxury treatment.

A 13-inch central infotainment display and a 5-inch digital cockpit come as standard. There is also an optional head-up display with augmented reality and a CANTON sound system with 12 speakers and 635 watts of output. The infotainment screen includes a “Heaters” button that can activate up to four heating functions at once.

Škoda has not forgotten the smart, practical side of things. Four USB-C ports with 45 watts of output each, a wireless charging Phone Box, and a tailgate with Virtual Pedal all come standard. Simply Clever features like a QR code in the trunk for video instructions, and a navigation system that warns about road hazards in real-time, make daily driving easier. The Enyaq RS models also feature Open-On-Approach, which unlocks the car when you walk up with the key, and Walk-Away Locking when you leave.

Towing capacity is up to 1,400 kilograms, and the vehicle comes with towing prep as standard. The optional electric-release tow bar makes hitching a trailer or bike rack a breeze.
