Cadillac LYRIQ-V Revealed: 615 HP Electric SUV That Hits 60 in 3.3 Seconds!

Cadillac LYRIQ-V Revealed: 615 HP Electric SUV That Hits 60 in 3.3 Seconds!

The 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V has officially arrived, and it is making serious noise in the world of electric performance. Revealed at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, this high-performance luxury SUV brings a new level of speed and design to Cadillac’s all-electric future. As the brand’s first fully electric V-Series model, the LYRIQ-V sets a new benchmark by becoming the fastest production Cadillac ever.

Under the sleek exterior is General Motors’ Ultium platform paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system that cranks out 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. With Velocity Max mode activated, this electric powerhouse rockets from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.3 seconds. That is faster than the supercharged CT5-V Blackwing and proves that electric does not mean compromise.

To feed this performance, the LYRIQ-V uses a 102 kilowatt-hour battery pack with an estimated range of 285 miles on a full charge. When you are low on juice, DC fast charging adds about 75 miles of range in just 10 minutes. It is not just quick on the road — it is quick to recharge, too.

Visually, the LYRIQ-V stands apart from the standard version. The front end features a sportier lower fascia with a unique V-pattern mesh grille. It rides on 22-inch wheels finished in a dark sport tone, and the upgraded Brembo front brakes hint at the performance underneath. Even the side skirts and rear valance carry a more aggressive stance to match the V badge.

Step inside and you are greeted with an interior that blends futuristic tech with refined comfort. A 33-inch LED display dominates the dash, while a 23-speaker AKG Studio system with Dolby Atmos delivers concert-level audio. There is also an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display that provides key driving data right in your line of sight. The steering wheel gets a special V-Series design with a dedicated V-Mode button, and options like Nappa leather and power-adjustable seat bolsters round out the premium feel.

Cadillac will build the LYRIQ-V at its Spring Hill, Tennessee plant for the United States, while the Chinese-market model will be produced locally at the SAIC-GM factory in Shanghai. Interestingly, the Chinese version has a slightly lower output of 595 horsepower, uses 21-inch wheels, and features some minor design tweaks. It is still a V-Series through and through, but Cadillac tailored it slightly for regional preferences.

Pricing in the United States starts at $78,595, with fully loaded trims reaching close to $94,085. One standout option is the exclusive “Magnus Metal Frost” paint, which will be offered in limited quantities. The LYRIQ-V will also be available in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and additional global markets still to be confirmed.

Cadillac is clearly not holding back. The 2026 LYRIQ-V is a bold statement that high performance and electric driving are no longer separate conversations. It is the most exciting Cadillac in years — and it is electric.
