BRABUS 1000 Hybrid Supercar Hits 100 km/h in 2.6 Seconds

BRABUS 1000 Hybrid Supercar Hits 100 km/h in 2.6 Seconds

When you hear the name BRABUS, you instantly think of power, presence, and precision. But the new BRABUS 1000 hybrid supercar takes that reputation to another level. Based on the already potent Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, this car is more than just a tuned luxury machine—it is a bold redefinition of hybrid performance.

At the heart of the BRABUS 1000 is a 4.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with an electric motor. Combined, this powerhouse delivers 1,000 horsepower and an electronically limited 1,620 Nm of torque to the road. In real-world terms, it means 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.6 seconds, and it hits 300 kilometers per hour in just 23.6 seconds. Top speed? That is capped at 320 kilometers per hour—plenty fast for anyone who dares.

The V8 engine itself is no ordinary block. BRABUS increases displacement from the stock 4.0 liters to 4.5 liters through larger pistons, a forged aluminum crankshaft, and high-performance connecting rods. Add to that two custom turbochargers and a meticulously tuned exhaust system with active valves, and the result is a combustion engine alone that makes 796 horsepower.

But the story does not end with gasoline power. BRABUS also integrates a 204 horsepower electric motor at the rear axle. It works through a dedicated two-speed transmission to complement the nine-speed SPEEDSHIFT gearbox that manages the V8’s output. Together, the hybrid system delivers ferocious, uninterrupted acceleration with the all-wheel-drive setup ensuring all of it sticks to the road.

To balance all that thrust, BRABUS did not skimp on the design. Aerodynamics were refined in a wind tunnel. A full carbon fiber body kit, including front spoilers, side skirts, canards, a diffuser, and a rear wing, enhances downforce and gives the car a more aggressive stance. The Monoblock Z Platinum Edition wheels measure 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear, wrapped in performance tires as wide as 335 millimeters in the back. Height-adjustable sports springs developed with KW Suspension help lower the center of gravity and further improve handling.

Inside, luxury meets motorsport. The BRABUS Masterpiece interior features quilted black leather, microfiber headliners, red contrast stitching, and carbon fiber trim throughout. Every detail from the illuminated door sills to the embossed “77” logos pays homage to BRABUS’ heritage while keeping things modern and bold.

Adding to its exclusivity, BRABUS registers each unit in the Aura Blockchain Consortium. A Digital Product Passport certifies authenticity, protects against counterfeiting, and adds transparency for owners and collectors alike.

Now for those wondering about emissions and efficiency, the BRABUS 1000 hybrid returns a combined 12.9 liters per 100 kilometers for fuel and 33.6 kilowatt-hours per 100 kilometers for electricity, with a small electric-only range of 12 kilometers. This is not a city commuter—it is a statement.

With a price tag starting at 445,900 euros (excluding tax), this is not just a car—it is an experience, a piece of performance art on wheels. It is unapologetically bold, unmistakably BRABUS, and built for those who accept nothing less than the best.
