BMW and Valentino Rossi Drop 46 Limited-Edition M4 CS Supercars

To celebrate the 46th birthday of legendary motorcycle champion Valentino Rossi, BMW M has revealed a limited-edition masterpiece: the BMW M4 CS Edition VR46. This unique creation is more than just a tribute—it is a collaboration between BMW M engineers and “The Doctor” himself. Rossi’s signature number 46 is boldly displayed across two stunning design variants, Sport and Style, each limited to only 46 units.

Every BMW M4 CS Edition VR46 is a work of automotive art. The Sport version features Marina Bay Blue metallic paint with oversized 46 graphics in Tanzanite Blue and bright yellow accents. The Style variant, on the other hand, goes for a more elegant matte Frozen Tanzanite Blue with Frozen Marina Bay Blue 46 graphics. Both versions wear the VR46 logo and Rossi’s signature on the carbon-fiber roof.

These vehicles were handcrafted with precision, requiring over 20 hours of custom paintwork by a select team of four experts. From hand-applied masking films to manual clear coat applications, each step reflects the kind of care usually reserved for concept cars or art installations.

Inside, the M4 CS Edition VR46 feels just as special. Night Blue interiors are highlighted with yellow stitching, Sao Paulo Yellow accents on the bucket seats, and a yellow center stripe on the steering wheel. Details like the “1/46” badge and the VR46 logos on headrests and door sills make each car feel personal.
