523HP Luxury Hybrid for Under $28K? Meet the Lynk and Co 10 EM-P
The Lynk and Co 10 EM-P is not just another plug-in hybrid sedan—it is the kind of car that makes you stop and rethink what a modern vehicle can offer. Recently revealed in China, this stylish new flagship blends smart design, strong performance, and futuristic tech in a package that feels both luxurious and accessible.
At 5,050 millimeters long with a 3,005 millimeter wheelbase, the 10 EM-P has a bold presence. Its design is clean and high-end, with sharp angles and tasteful detailing. What really sets it apart visually are the new color options—light purple, deep gold, and warm beige—that give it a distinct modern look.
The interior takes comfort to a new level. All four seats are heated, ventilated, and come with massage functions. The rear seats even recline electronically, and yes, there is an actual fridge between them. It can chill drinks down to minus 6 degrees Celsius or warm snacks up to 50 degrees Celsius. Combine that with a 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and you are basically in a luxury lounge on wheels.
Technology in the 10 EM-P is equally impressive. It features a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor and the G-Pilot H7 advanced driver assist system, which allows for hands-free highway driving, urban self-navigation, and even automatic parking—without needing high-definition maps. It is all powered by Nvidia’s Drive Thor-U chip, capable of 700 trillion operations per second.
Under the hood, the car combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with two electric motors, one at the front and one at the rear. The total output is 523 horsepower and 755 newton-meters of torque, pushing the car from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.1 seconds. Despite its performance, it is still efficient—using only 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers.
There are two battery options to choose from. An 18.4 kilowatt-hour pack offers 120 kilometers of electric-only range, while a larger 38.2 kilowatt-hour battery gives you up to 240 kilometers. Fast charging from 30 percent to 80 percent takes only 15 minutes.
Priced at around 200,000 yuan, or under 28,000 dollars in China, the 10 EM-P delivers features often found in cars double its price. It is expected to go global by 2026, and when it does, it may become one of the best all-around electrified sedans out there.
