2026 Dodge Charger Daytona: World’s First Four-Door Electric Muscle Car Is Here!

2026 Dodge Charger Daytona: World’s First Four-Door Electric Muscle Car Is Here!

Dodge is turning up the voltage in the muscle car game with the all-electric 2026 Dodge Charger Daytona, now offered as both a sleek two-door coupe and a first-of-its-kind four-door muscle sedan. Making its official debut at the Midwest Automotive Media Association Spring Rally, this electrified beast is more than just another EV — it is a statement from Dodge that muscle is evolving, not disappearing.

What makes this four-door Charger Daytona stand out is that it does not compromise. You still get the aggressive widebody stance, the thunderous performance, and a fully driver-focused cockpit, but now with the added practicality of four doors. Whether you choose the coupe or sedan, you get the same muscle, the same power, and the same soul.

Under the skin, both versions are powered by Dodge’s all-electric 400-volt dual motor system. The Daytona Scat Pack punches out an insane 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque, rocketing from zero to sixty miles per hour in just 3.3 seconds. The quarter-mile time? A blistering 11.5 seconds. And yes, it still delivers the roar thanks to the standard Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust — a patent-pending system that gives this EV a signature Dodge growl.

The all-wheel-drive layout is standard, giving the Charger the grip it needs in any weather. Drivers can switch through various Drive Modes like Sport, Track, Drag, and even Drift Mode for those who want to let loose. There’s also a PowerShot feature that gives you an extra 40 horsepower with the push of a button — perfect for that punch of adrenaline.

Visually, the Charger sedan and coupe are nearly identical. They share the same front and rear fascias, roofline, and even the “hidden hatch” rear end. The sedan’s design cleverly integrates the extra set of doors without sacrificing its coupe-like silhouette. It has the widest body in the industry, and it looks every bit the part.

Inside, the Charger is pure Dodge. A massive 16-inch digital cluster sits behind the wheel, paired with a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 center screen. Performance Pages and EV-specific screens are built in, and the paddle shifters let you control regenerative braking on the fly. The rear hatch opens to a best-in-class cargo space — 38.5 cubic feet — making this muscle car surprisingly versatile.

For those craving more edge, the Track Package is available and adds monster 16-inch Brembo brakes, staggered Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires, adaptive damping, and suede performance seats. There’s even a Drive Experience Recorder to capture your on-track heroics.

Dodge did not forget the finer details either. Both versions are available with new Fratzog dual stripes and a gloss black hand-painted hood. There’s also an available panoramic glass roof, an 18-speaker Alpine sound system, and the Carbon & Suede package for a more upscale feel.

All models come with a day of high-performance driving instruction at Radford Racing School — a proper way to introduce new owners to their Charger’s full potential.

Range? Up to 241 miles. Charging? From 20 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes with a Level 3 charger. And yes, a combination charging cord is included, allowing you to plug into both 120-volt and 240-volt outlets.

Dodge will also release gas-powered Charger SIXPACK models later this year for those who are not ready to go full electric. But for now, the all-electric Charger Daytona is here, loud and proud, and rewriting what it means to be a modern muscle car.
