2025 Tesla Model 3 Crash Test Results Will Surprise You

The 2025 Tesla Model 3 has once again proven that safety is one of its strongest qualities, earning top scores in the latest Euro NCAP crash tests. With an overall rating of 5 stars, the electric sedan delivered exceptional performance across all categories, making it one of the safest cars in its segment.

For adult occupant protection, the Model 3 scored 90 percent. During frontal offset testing, the passenger cabin remained stable, and dummy readings showed excellent protection for the knees and femurs. Tesla also confirmed that similar protection would apply across various occupant sizes and seating positions. In side barrier and pole impact tests, the car achieved full marks, showing great resilience and protection for critical body areas.

Child occupant safety received an impressive 93 percent rating. Both six-year-old and ten-year-old crash test dummies were well protected in frontal and side impacts. All tested child restraint systems could be safely installed, and the vehicle includes a child presence detection system that alerts when a child is left in the car. A front passenger airbag cut-off switch adds another layer of safety when using a rear-facing child seat.

When it comes to protecting vulnerable road users, the Model 3 earned 89 percent. Tesla’s active bonnet system lifts during a collision to reduce head injuries, especially for pedestrians and cyclists. Its autonomous emergency braking system detected and responded effectively to people and two-wheelers, even at low speeds.

The Model 3 also scored 87 percent in safety assist technology. It is equipped with lane keep assist, intelligent speed assistance, direct eye-monitoring for driver attention, and seatbelt reminders for all seats. Its forward collision warning system and automatic emergency braking performed well against vehicles and vulnerable users alike.

In short, the 2025 Tesla Model 3 combines cutting-edge safety features with strong structural integrity. Whether you are driving solo or with family, this electric sedan prioritizes your protection on every trip.
