You Will Not Believe the Interior of the New Kia Stonic

Kia is giving its Stonic crossover a more meaningful refresh for 2026, and it is not just a quick facelift this time. Even though it is still not available in the United States of America, this upgraded subcompact stands out more than ever, blending rugged charm with modern tech. The revised exterior brings the Stonic closer to the brand’s electric models, especially with the new Star Map LED lighting, reshaped grille, and 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheel choices. The GT-Line trim gets the exclusive 17-inch design at launch.

Inside, the transformation is even more obvious. Kia has introduced a new panoramic screen setup that combines a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with an infotainment touchscreen. The HVAC controls have gone digital too, thanks to the new Multimode Touch Display, letting you flip between climate and media settings with ease. Tech lovers will appreciate the addition of a Digital Key, Kia Connect cloud services, and wireless smartphone charging.

Safety is also smarter with features like Highway Driving Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Forward Collision-Avoidance. You even get Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance and a Safe Exit Warning to protect you and your passengers.

Under the hood, there is a 1.0-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine that delivers either 100 or 115 metric horsepower, depending on configuration. A mild-hybrid version brings more torque and better efficiency, especially in GT-Line form.

Kia really seems to be listening to what buyers want in a small crossover. From fresh design touches to meaningful tech and safety upgrades, the new Stonic feels like it belongs in 2026. If only it would make its way to the United States of America.
