This Rezvani RR1 Turns a Porsche 911 Into a 935-Inspired Monster
Rezvani, the California-based brand known for blending exotic supercar styling with military-grade SUVs, is taking a bold new turn. Instead of creating another armored beast, the company is diving into Porsche territory with a nostalgic twist. Their latest project reimagines the legendary Porsche 935 through two models — the RR1 600 and the RR1 750 — each built on the modern 992-generation Porsche 911 platform.
The RR1 600 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine with upgraded turbochargers and other performance hardware, although Rezvani is keeping some details under wraps. This setup allows the RR1 600 to sprint from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.0 seconds, delivering a thrilling driving experience while maintaining the retro-inspired look.
For those craving more extreme performance, the RR1 750 takes things to the next level. Built on the 911 Turbo S, it features a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six producing an incredible 750 horsepower. With its all-wheel-drive system and seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, the RR1 750 rockets from 0 to 60 miles per hour in a blistering 2.0 seconds. Buyers can also opt for Ohlins TTX-Pro coilovers to enhance track handling even further.
Rezvani plans to produce only 50 units, each requiring around four months to build. Pricing starts at $195,000, but that does not include the 992-generation Porsche 911 donor car, which buyers must supply themselves.
Customization options are extensive and carry premium price tags. Center-lock wheels cost $12,500, carbon-fiber wheel covers are $4,500, and the upgraded track suspension is $8,500. High-performance intercoolers and auxiliary radiators are $3,500 each, and upgraded Brembo brakes cost the same as the wheels.
