The New 2026 Porsche 911 GT3 Manthey Kit Just Got Faster — Here Is How
Porsche has always treated the 911 GT3 as more than just another sports car. It is a machine built for people who want to feel every inch of the track through their fingertips. Now, with the latest Manthey package for the 992.2 generation, the GT3 pushes deeper into the world of precision and control without altering the engine at all. Instead, Porsche and Manthey focused on the details that matter most to drivers who chase lap times and love the feedback of a finely tuned chassis.
The kit introduces several aerodynamic upgrades that immediately stand out. The rear wheels wear carbon fiber aero discs that help reduce drag, and even though they give the car an asymmetrical look, the forged wheels underneath match perfectly. The lightweight wheel set uses 20-inch wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels in the rear, cutting 13.2 pounds compared to the original setup. Customers can also choose Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires, sized 255/35 ZR20 up front and 315/30 ZR21 in the rear, for maximum grip during aggressive driving.
Suspension and braking confidence also take a step forward. Manthey adds braided steel brake lines for more consistent pedal feel and a four-way coilover suspension with struts that can be adjusted without tools. These upgrades give the GT3 a more connected feel, especially when pushing hard through high-speed sections.
Aerodynamics play an even bigger role in this update. The rear wing becomes wider and now includes a gurney flap, and the enlarged end plates curve inward to improve airflow. Underneath the car, the turning vanes grow to about 59 inches, nearly 39 inches longer than before, and Manthey adds a cover beneath the cargo-area floor for a smoother underbody. The front spoiler lip extends almost half an inch farther, and new diffuser fins and bumper canards add even more stability.
With all aero components in their street-friendly positions, the GT3 with the Manthey kit creates 782 pounds of downforce. Switch everything to the most aggressive setting for track use, and the number jumps to 1,190 pounds. That extra stability shows on the stopwatch. Compared to the pre-facelift GT3 with the older Manthey kit, the new version trims 2.76 seconds off the Nürburgring lap time, recording a final time of 6:52.9 with DTM champion Ayhancan Güven behind the wheel.
The package arrives in the United States next spring. It will be available through more than 40 Manthey-certified Porsche dealerships and will not affect the car’s factory warranty. Pricing has not been confirmed, but the previous-generation kit started at $57,300 before adding the $15,500 forged wheels. Manthey also offers upgrades for the GT3 RS and the previous-generation GT2 RS for customers who want even more track-focused performance.
