The Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red Is a Million-Dollar Open-Air Beast
Born wild and built without compromise, the Brabus Rocket GTC Deep Red is more than a car—it is a statement of power and freedom. This handcrafted cabriolet combines the raw acceleration of a hyper-GT with the open-air sensation of a grand tourer. Its entire body is wrapped in exposed carbon fiber finished in a stunning Deep Red tone, with low-slung proportions and aggressive aero shaping that make it look fast even when it is standing still.
Drop the roof and the drama only intensifies. The car transforms into a sleek wedge of velocity that looks like it is ready to leap forward at any moment. And when you unleash it, the 1,000-horsepower hybrid system launches you from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.6 seconds. Before you can blink, you are already well into supercar territory, where the thrill is as exhilarating as it is intimidating.
Although it shares its foundation with the hardtop shooting brake version, the cabriolet delivers a completely different experience. It still has the Brabus “1-Second-Wow” effect in both looks and performance, but the absence of a roof creates a visceral connection between driver, machine, and the world rushing by.
Every detail of the body is purposeful. The front splitter adds downforce while wide intakes feed cooling air to the engine and brakes. Along the sides, sculpted sills channel airflow, and the massive quarter panels push the stance out to 198.5 centimeters. At the rear, a ducktail spoiler and integrated diffuser stabilize the car at high speeds, while four illuminated titanium tailpipes framed in red carbon announce its intent with authority.
Power comes from the Brabus Rocket 1000 drivetrain: a 4.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 paired with a 204-horsepower electric motor. Together, they deliver 1,000 horsepower and 1,820 Nm of torque, electronically managed at 1,620 Nm to safeguard the drivetrain. The hybrid system draws from a 6.1 kWh battery and features a two-speed gearbox for seamless power delivery across the speed range. Performance numbers are staggering: 0 to 200 kilometers per hour in 9.5 seconds, 0 to 300 in 23.6 seconds, and a top speed of 317 kilometers per hour.
This power reaches the road through a 9-speed sport transmission and an advanced all-wheel-drive system. Forged Monoblock P “Platinum Edition” wheels complete the package—21-inch fronts with 275/35 ZR 21 tires and 22-inch rears wrapped in massive 335/25 ZR 22 rubber. The exhaust system offers dual personalities: a subdued “Coming Home” setting or a ferocious V8 roar that matches the car’s character.
Inside, the Masterpiece cabin shows Brabus’s unmatched craftsmanship. With the roof open, the interior becomes a gallery of fine leather, Shell-pattern stitching, and embossed Double-B logos. Carbon fiber trim, illuminated door sills, and Shadow Gray accents bring a mix of modern sportiness and luxury. Even the trunk is upholstered in leather, proving that no corner is overlooked.
The Rocket lineage runs deep in Brabus history, from record-breaking sedans to extreme coupes. The GTC Deep Red builds on that legacy while pushing it in a new direction—open-air performance that is as wild as it is elegant.
Exclusivity comes with a price: €830,422.94, which equals roughly $967,000. In the United States, Brabus lists it as “Price on Request.” For those who can afford it, this is not just a car. It is a symbol of unrestrained ambition.
