Porsche GT3 RS Built Just for Canada – You Will Not Believe What It Includes
Porsche Cars Canada is kicking off something truly special ahead of the official opening of its new Porsche Experience Centre Toronto on June 18. As part of the celebration, an extraordinary one-of-a-kind 911 GT3 RS is going up for auction through RM Sotheby’s. This is not just any auction. It is a sealed bidding event that launches during the centre’s grand opening festivities and will close on July 1. What makes it even more meaningful is that a portion of the auction proceeds will benefit Campfire Circle, an Ontario-based charity supporting children with serious illnesses through hospital and overnight camp programs.
Trevor Arthur, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Cars Canada, shared that this project symbolizes a dream turned into reality—much like the centre itself. And he believes this special car has the potential to inspire far beyond the garage of its lucky new owner.
To mark the opening of the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto, the company created a truly bespoke version of the 911 GT3 RS. Built in collaboration with Porsche’s special request division in Germany, and designed by none other than Grant Larson, the car showcases just how far personalization can go within the Porsche world.
The result is a GT3 RS with the Weissach Package that was first revealed at the 2024 Canadian International Auto Show. Dressed in a striking red and white livery inspired by the Canadian flag, the car makes a bold statement. The interior is just as unique, featuring a specially designed “pepita” fabric made exclusively for this vehicle. Even the finer details, like signatures under the front hood from key Porsche designers including Grant Larson, GT product line director Andreas Preuninger, and the head of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur Boris Apenbrink, make this car a collector’s dream.
On top of all that, the winning bidder will receive a custom-built Chronograph 911 GT3 RS timepiece and a detailed 1:18 scale model of the car itself, adding even more exclusivity to the package.
Bidding closes at 3:00 PM Eastern Time on July 1, 2025, so if you are a Porsche enthusiast—or just someone looking to own a true piece of Canadian automotive art—now is your chance.
