New Trident 660 Triple Tribute Revealed – Full Features, Design, and Tech Breakdown
The new 2025 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition brings together sleek racing heritage and modern technology, creating a machine that is not only visually striking but also packed with advanced features aimed at elevating the riding experience. Following the success of the previous special edition, Triumph doubles down on what fans loved and adds more refinement and performance for this year’s model.
The Triple Tribute styling pays homage to the iconic “Slippery Sam,” Triumph’s five-time Isle of Man TT champion. This new model drapes itself in a deep Sapphire Black paint scheme, contrasted boldly with Cobalt Blue and Diablo Red graphics. The red-painted wheels and “67” race number emblazoned on the tank solidify its connection to Triumph’s rich racing history. A matching aerodynamic flyscreen and a sculpted aluminum belly pan enhance the profile and road presence, making it a real standout even when parked.
At the heart of the bike is the lively 660 cubic centimeter three-cylinder engine. Tuned specifically for the Trident, it delivers 81 PS at 10,250 revolutions per minute and 64 Newton meters of torque at 6,250 revolutions per minute. This setup ensures smooth, usable power across the rev range, whether you are cruising through traffic or leaning into a winding country road. The engine’s low inertia parts help it spin freely, giving the Trident its playful character. The stainless steel exhaust emits that distinct triple-cylinder growl that Triumph fans love.
The 2025 edition introduces several rider-focused technologies that bring serious value. Optimised Cornering Anti-lock Braking System and Optimised Traction Control adjust dynamically based on lean angle and road grip. These features come together with three selectable riding modes — Rain, Road, and Sport — to give riders confidence and adaptability no matter the conditions. Cruise Control is also now standard, offering more comfort on longer rides.
Another welcomed upgrade is the Triumph Shift Assist system, which allows clutchless up and down gear changes, included as standard. The six-speed gearbox has been tuned for both fun and functionality, helping riders flow seamlessly through city streets or push hard on open roads.
The Trident 660’s handling has always been a strong point, and that continues here. A tubular steel frame keeps the bike lightweight and balanced. Up front, you get Showa 41 millimeter Separate Function Big Piston forks, paired with a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Combined with Michelin Road 5 tires and dual Nissin two-piston calipers with 310 millimeter discs, the setup offers excellent control and braking in a variety of situations.
The full-color TFT display is both intuitive and stylish. Riders can easily toggle between modes and monitor performance, while smartphone integration via the My Triumph Connectivity System gives access to navigation, music, and calls. All lighting is LED, and security features include an integrated engine immobilizer.
With a low seat height of 805 millimeters and a wet weight of 190 kilograms, the Trident feels welcoming for newer riders and nimble for experienced ones. The upright ergonomics, slim tank, and light clutch all contribute to comfort and reduced fatigue.
Triumph has also ensured customization is easy. Riders can choose from over 30 official accessories ranging from luggage to billet-machined mirrors to heated grips. For added security, Triumph’s Protect+ alarm and Track+ tracker can be fitted, all backed by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
This bike is more than just another special edition. It is Triumph showing that performance, heritage, and day-to-day practicality can live together in one well-balanced machine.
