New Suzuki eVITARA – The Affordable Electric SUV Everyone’s Been Waiting For

New Suzuki eVITARA – The Affordable Electric SUV Everyone’s Been Waiting For

Suzuki has officially launched its first fully electric vehicle, the all-new eVITARA, in the United Kingdom. Customer deliveries began in early October 2025, marking a major milestone for the brand as it embraces a new era of electric mobility. Built at Suzuki’s Gujarat facility in India, the eVITARA is designed for global markets, starting with the United Kingdom and Europe, before reaching India and Japan.

The eVITARA offers two battery choices: a 49 kWh pack for efficiency and a 61 kWh pack for extended range. Customers can also choose the optional ALLGRIP-e system, Suzuki’s advanced electric four-wheel drive that enhances traction and control. Thanks to the new HEARTECT-e platform, this electric SUV delivers both agility and stability, offering a smooth yet confident drive.

Visually, the eVITARA embodies Suzuki’s signature “High Tech and Adventure” theme. It features sculpted body lines, a long 2,700 mm wheelbase, and short overhangs for a dynamic stance. Motion models come with 18-inch alloy wheels, while the Ultra grade adds 19-inch wheels for an even bolder presence. Inside, the cabin continues the futuristic theme with a floating center console, a 10.25-inch digital instrument display, and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen. Ambient lighting with 12 color options adds a refined touch, and higher trims feature heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic glass roof.

Suzuki is also offering an appealing “Suzuki Granted” incentive, equivalent to the discontinued Electric Car Grant. For example, the 49 kWh Motion model drops from £29,999 to £26,249—a £3,750 saving. The offer runs until December 31, 2025, and includes a free Ohme home charger. Finance options start at 2.9% APR, with the 61 kWh Motion model available for just £299 per month after a £5,599 deposit.

Under the hood, the 49 kWh model delivers 106 kW, while the 61 kWh two-wheel drive produces 128 kW. The ALLGRIP-e variant combines front and rear motors for a total of 135 kW and an extra 114 Nm of torque, providing instant response and impressive off-road confidence. With DC fast charging, the battery can recharge from 10% to 80% in just 45 minutes.

Suzuki’s inclusion of a standard heat pump system sets it apart from many rivals, optimizing battery range in colder weather. Together with its HEARTECT-e safety platform and advanced driver-assist technologies, the eVITARA blends style, innovation, and practicality in one electric SUV.
