New Baby G-Class Rendered: What Mercedes Is Really Hiding Under the Camo
The new spy photos of the upcoming 2027 Mercedes-Benz Baby G-Class have already stirred up plenty of curiosity, and at DPCcars, we wanted to take that excitement a step further. After studying every angle, every shadow, and every detail from the prototypes, we created our own prediction render videos to show how this smaller G-Class might look once it reaches production. It has been interesting to see how Mercedes-Benz appears to be shrinking the iconic G silhouette without losing the strong stance and rugged confidence that make the G-Class so recognizable.
In our renderings, the Baby G-Class carries the same upright posture, squared wheel arches, and short overhangs that define the larger model. We focused on keeping the boxy personality intact while adjusting the proportions to match what the prototypes suggest. From the compact roofline to the modern lighting signatures, we wanted viewers to get a realistic sense of what this new chapter in the G family could become. Seeing it take shape in motion brings a fresh perspective, especially for a vehicle that aims to attract new buyers who love the G look but do not necessarily need the size and price of the full model.
Based on what is known so far, the Baby G-Class is expected to launch as a fully electric model. Early reports point to a dual electric motor setup with strong off-road capability and a dedicated chassis that supports real-world rugged use. A battery pack with competitive range is likely, along with the possibility of a future hybrid or gasoline version if Mercedes-Benz expands the lineup. The idea is simple: deliver something stylish, capable, and youthful, but still unmistakably a G-Class.
