New AMG Super Sedan Leaks: Over 1,000 Horsepower Confirmed?

The next big leap from Mercedes-AMG is no longer a rumor. Thanks to fresh spy shots and early teasers, enthusiasts are getting a clearer idea of what the brand’s first all-electric super sedan will bring to the table. This car is expected to evolve from the Vision AMG concept introduced in 2022, but it will not be a carbon copy. The design has matured into a more production-ready silhouette with cleaner proportions and slightly toned-down futuristic elements.

The LED light signature that mimicked the Mercedes emblem is still there, but now more subtle and built into slimmer headlamp units. These lights are tied together by a narrow LED strip, echoing the design language of the new CLA lineup. The fastback roof from the concept is replaced with a more traditional sedan curve, likely offering better rear headroom. Frameless doors and retractable handles will give it that sleek, high-tech edge.

The rear remains a mystery. Camouflaged prototypes show small round tail lights with three-pointed stars embedded in them. Only one per side is visible for now, suggesting more could be hidden beneath the wrap.

Built on the AMG.EA platform, this electric beast is rumored to pack three motors and push over 1,000 horsepower—easily outmuscling the current AMG GT 63 S E Performance hybrid, which delivers 843 horsepower.
