New 2026 Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept – Rugged, Powerful, and Ready

New 2026 Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept – Rugged, Powerful, and Ready

For years, truck enthusiasts in North America have been waiting for the return of the Dakota name. While that wait continues in the United States, Ram is bringing it back for South America with the 2026 Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept — a tough and aggressive vision of what is coming soon to Brazilian showrooms. This is not the Dakota from the past. It is a bolder, more capable midsize pickup built to make an impression.

Rather than adopting a unibody design like some modern pickups, the new Dakota is a true body-on-frame truck, sharing its platform with the Fiat Titano. Production will take place at Stellantis’ Córdoba Assembly Plant in Argentina, where the Titano is also built. Even though it shares some bones with the Fiat, the Dakota’s styling and character are pure Ram, targeting Brazil’s growing premium pickup market.

Power will come from a 2.2-liter Multijet II turbocharged diesel inline-4, the same engine found in the Ram Rampage and Jeep Compass in Brazil. It delivers 200 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, paired with a ZF-sourced 8-speed 8HP50 automatic transmission. A standard 4×4 system ensures it is ready for both demanding workdays and weekend adventures.

The Nightfall Concept’s design turns heads immediately. The front features a bold RAM grille framed by a full-width LED light strip, complemented by full LED headlights. The hood channels Ram’s high-performance TRX with a central scoop lit by three amber marker lights, a signature nod to the brand’s most extreme trucks.

Built for the rough stuff, the truck includes a front winch, tow hooks, skid plate, Fox high-performance suspension, and 33-inch off-road tires on 18-inch beadlock-capable alloy wheels. Wide black fender flares, bronze trim, side steps, and high-clearance bumpers give it a muscular stance that means business.

At the back, it features a Rambar with long-range LED spotlights, a full-size spare mounted in the bed, LED taillights, rear tow hooks, and a bold RAM tailgate emblem. Unique Nightfall and Turbo badging add to its exclusive appeal.

Ram finishes the look with a custom paint job and unique graphics symbolizing strength and capability. From its aggressive body lines to its premium details, the 2026 Ram Dakota Nightfall Concept is built to stand out.
