Kia’s Next-Gen Telluride Just Leveled Up – First Look at the 2027 Model!

Kia’s Next-Gen Telluride Just Leveled Up – First Look at the 2027 Model!

The Kia Telluride has been one of the most recognized names in the three-row SUV segment since it first arrived in 2020. Now, for 2027, Kia is ready to take it to a whole new level. Set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, the new Telluride promises a bold evolution in design, technology, and space while keeping the adventure spirit that made it such a hit in the first place.

The redesigned exterior immediately grabs attention with its wider and taller grille that stretches seamlessly into the headlights. The grille design now varies by trim level — the SXP version features a sleek gloss-black finish with vertical slats, while the XRT model sports a rugged black mesh pattern that extends to the bumper’s base. The new look is more assertive, with sharp, triangular lines carved into the fenders, a broader hood, and a floating roofline that hints at modern Range Rover styling cues.

Every detail feels intentional, from the new vertical LED headlights and taillights to the redesigned eight-spoke wheels available on the SXP and X-Pro trims. For off-road enthusiasts, the X-Pro model adds bright orange recovery hooks that highlight its adventurous side. Kia also stretched the wheelbase by nearly 3 inches, making the SUV 2.3 inches longer overall at 199.2 inches from bumper to bumper. That translates to more room for passengers and extra cargo capacity — something families and road-trippers will definitely appreciate.

Step inside, and the transformation continues. The interior has been completely reimagined with higher-quality materials, including real wood and metal accents throughout the dashboard and door panels. A new dual-screen setup runs across the front of the cabin, likely surpassing the previous model’s optional 12.3-inch display. Kia has blended elegance with modernity, offering new two-tone leather seats with mesh-style headrests and a range of interior colors such as Deep Navy, Blackberry, Tuscan Umber, and Sand Beige.

While official powertrain details are still under wraps, the Telluride shares its foundation with the Hyundai Palisade, which now includes a 2.5-liter turbo hybrid and a 3.5-liter V6. If that carries over, the 2027 Telluride should offer a blend of strong performance and improved fuel efficiency.

Pricing has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to start just under $40,000, with higher trims exceeding $55,000. Kia will reveal full details at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, and fans of this capable and stylish SUV have every reason to get excited.
