Flagship DJI FlyCart 100 Drone: Built for Extreme Delivery Missions
The DJI FlyCart 100 is not just a delivery drone—it is a flying logistics machine built for tough missions. Designed to handle everything from emergency supply drops to high-altitude construction support, this flagship model takes DJI’s heavy-lift drone technology to an entirely new level. Whether you are in the middle of a forest, at a remote mountain outpost, or supporting disaster relief, the FlyCart 100 is built to get the job done when nothing else can.
At the heart of this drone is a beast of a powertrain. It can carry up to 80 kilograms of payload with a single battery and up to 65 kilograms in dual-battery configuration. Even fully loaded, it still achieves a range of around 6 kilometers, extending up to 12 kilometers with lighter loads. The total takeoff weight maxes out at 149.9 kilograms, giving it serious lift capabilities.
The design is no less impressive. It uses a coaxial quad-rotor layout with eight massive 62-inch carbon fiber propellers powered by 420-ampere electronic speed controllers. That is how it lifts such heavy loads with precision and stability. The flagship version includes a 30-meter retractable winch system with intelligent features like anti-sway control, real-time weighing, and even an emergency release.
Safety and intelligence are also priorities. The FlyCart 100 is packed with sensors, including LiDAR, millimeter-wave radar, stereo vision, and five-direction fisheye cameras. It can avoid obstacles in complex environments and even deploy a parachute if something goes wrong at altitude. Rated IP55, it withstands rain, dust, and wind speeds up to 12 meters per second, operating in temperatures from negative 20 to 40 degrees Celsius.
It is not just tough—it is smart, too. The onboard battery system supports ultra-fast charging, heating for cold climates, and lasts for about 1,500 cycles. Communication is reliable with DJI’s O4 video transmission system offering up to 20 kilometers of range, plus optional 4G support. The new RC Plus 2 controller comes with a 7-inch bright screen and allows for dual-operator mode when precision matters most.
DJI has also gone all in on the software side. FlyCart 100 works with DJI Delivery and DeliveryHub, which help manage routes, optimize missions, and even integrate third-party payloads through PSDK and E-Port compatibility. That means flexibility for logistics, emergency teams, and even militaries looking for high-end autonomous aerial delivery.
Pricing starts at around $12,400 for the base model in China, with international availability expected to follow. Considering what this drone can do, the price tag puts it in serious industrial territory, but it is more accessible than a helicopter and faster to deploy.
If you are in the business of critical logistics, remote construction, emergency response, or last-mile delivery in hard-to-reach places, the FlyCart 100 is a game changer. It is not just about flying—it is about solving real problems where wheels and roads fall short.
