Brake checking can cause this, next time you think of brake checking a tailgater remember this video and what it actually can cause. Needless to say you will be in a crap load of trouble. In this case a truck had a dash cam to record the whole thing and it was turned into authority’s for a full review.

The truck was badly tailgating and deserved what happened to him.
I personally just slow down a little then speed back up to see if a tailgater gets the hint.
If that does not work, I change lanes and let the idiot go past.But sometimes the idiots just get behind you again. They want you to be the rabbit but still tailgate.
Then just speed up and leave them behind. Easy with a high powered car.
