You Will Not Believe How Fast the New Aston Martin Vantage S Is

Aston Martin is not wasting any time. Just a year and a half after launching the new Vantage, they are back with an even more exciting version—the Vantage S. This upgraded model reflects new Chief Executive Officer Adrian Hallmark’s strategy to expand the brand with more performance-focused variants, and this one is a serious step up in every direction.

Powering the Vantage S is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that now cranks out 671 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. That is a solid bump over the already wild standard version. Aston Martin has also spent a lot of time fine-tuning everything underneath. The suspension has been overhauled with updated dampers, revised tuning software, and a mix of stiffened and softened mounting points for improved agility and ride comfort. The rear subframe is now directly mounted to the body, while the mounts for the rear transaxle are made 10 percent softer to balance performance with comfort. Adjustments to the camber, caster, and toe settings further enhance cornering response and stability.

Acceleration is sharper than ever, with the zero to sixty miles per hour sprint now taking just 3.3 seconds, thanks in part to a revised throttle map that sharpens responsiveness. Top speed remains an eye-watering 202 miles per hour, and aerodynamic upgrades like the larger rear spoiler help provide 245 pounds of downforce at full tilt.

On the outside, the changes are subtle but purposeful. The Vantage S wears a red “S” badge on the fenders and features unique hood blades and an exclusive 21-inch forged wheel design with red detailing. Inside, the upgrades continue with standard carbon-fiber and Alcantara materials, “S” badging on the seats, and the option to customize your cabin with bold red accents or a more reserved palette.

Pricing details are still under wraps, but expect the Vantage S to cost more than the base coupe’s approximate $200,000 price tag. Both coupe and Roadster versions will be available, and deliveries are expected to begin in the final quarter of 2025.

If you are into high-performance British craftsmanship, this might be the perfect time to put your name down.
