You Will Not Believe What Porsche Built in Atlanta
In 2015, Porsche took its relationship with fans in North America to the next level. With the launch of the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, it created more than just a destination—it built a place where the Porsche spirit truly comes to life. Tucked beside Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the busiest airport in the world, the location is not a coincidence. It puts the Porsche Experience within a two-hour flight for about 80 percent of the United States population.
More than 540,000 guests have stepped through the doors of this world-class facility since it opened. The investment? Over 128 million dollars. That money went into a purpose-driven campus that includes the Porsche Experience Center, headquarters for Porsche Cars North America, and the United States home for Porsche Classic.
The driving experience is at the heart of it all. The original 1.6-mile development track delivers Porsche’s performance straight to your fingertips. And now, the new West Track, added in 2023, draws inspiration from legendary roads like Laguna Seca, Nürburgring, and Tail of the Dragon—together offering a thrilling 2.9 miles of combined driving excitement.
Built on 58 acres of Porsche passion, this place is more than a playground for driving fans. It is where 800-plus employees bring the brand to life daily. Inside, there is 13,000 square feet of event space hosting everything from business events to weddings and major film productions. The on-site restaurant, aptly named 356, offers gourmet meals with a side of panoramic track views.
The Porsche Heritage Gallery has featured over 200 rare models, and the Simulator Lab lets you drive iconic tracks virtually in cars like the 911 GT3 R. Movie studios have taken notice too—over 20 film and television productions have used this stunning site.
