You Will Not Believe the 2026 Corvette ZR1 and Z06 Changes! E-Ray and Stingray Updated Too

You Will Not Believe the 2026 Corvette ZR1 and Z06 Changes! E-Ray and Stingray Updated Too

The Chevrolet Corvette enters 2026 with a meaningful interior overhaul, even if the exterior might look familiar to casual observers. While most of the bodywork stays the same, there are subtle cues for those who know where to look. Inside, however, it is clear that Chevrolet paid close attention to driver feedback and took some bold steps forward.

The most noticeable change is the removal of the divisive vertical strip of buttons that once divided the cockpit. That setup has now been replaced by a cleaner, horizontal climate control layout just above the center console. The spine is not completely gone—it now acts as a discreet grab handle for the passenger.

Digital upgrades are a major highlight. The main infotainment screen is now 12.7 inches wide and extends more seamlessly across the dashboard. The driver’s digital display grows to 14.0 inches, and a new 6.6-inch touchscreen to the left offers dedicated readouts like mileage and data from the Performance Traction Management system. A carbon fiber hood for the instrument cluster comes standard on the ZR1 and is optional on the E-Ray and Z06.

The cabin layout also gets practical improvements. The center console is redesigned with repositioned cupholders and a relocated drive mode selector that sits alongside the gear selector. That change makes room for a wireless phone charging pad. New interior trims and color schemes help freshen the look, including a two-tone asymmetrical design in Jet Black and Adrenaline Red that visually splits the cockpit. Chevrolet even allows buyers to select mismatched seat colors.

From a performance standpoint, the new PTM Pro mode lets serious drivers take full control. It disables most electronic assists such as traction and stability control, leaving only the anti-lock brakes—and on the E-Ray, the front axle system. This mode is available across all trims, including the beastly 1,064-horsepower ZR1.

Technology updates continue with the E-Ray Performance App, now standard on all models. The Performance Data Recorder has been enhanced to pair seamlessly with the new, larger screens. As expected, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto remain available, and screen layouts are customizable.

Exterior updates are minimal but still worth noting. The electrochromic roof on hardtop models can adjust tint levels electronically. E-Ray variants now come with body-color rocker panels as standard. New blue brake calipers are offered for both the E-Ray and Z06, while a red asymmetrical center stripe in carbon flash adds a fresh visual cue. Two new paint options—Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic—expand the palette. The ZR1 equipped with the ZTK package benefits from upgraded brakes with 10-piston front calipers, 6-piston rear calipers, and carbon ceramic discs at all corners.

Scott Bell, vice president of Chevrolet Global, said, “Corvette remains the pinnacle of American sports cars and continues to dominate its segment in market share.” These thoughtful updates aim to keep it that way.

Chevrolet has not released pricing yet, but expect more details later this year.
