White Ferrari 488 Spider Caught In China

White Ferrari 488 Spider Caught In China

The first live photos with Ferrari’s 488 Spider have surfaced from China.

Leaked online towards the end of July, the spider version of the Ferrari 488 GTB has been spotted recently in China and will be heading to Frankfurt next week for its proper unveiling.

This is likely a pre-production vehicle wearing what appears to be the beautiful  Bianco Avus paint scheme and thankfully it was captured both with the retractable hard top up and down which takes only 14 seconds to transform.

The Ferrari 488 Spider is Ferrari’s most powerful ever mid-engined V8 version to have a hard top thanks to a V8 3.9-liter putting out a colossal 670 PS (493 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque.

It’s enough horsepower to enable the turbo Ferrari to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 3 seconds and 124 mph (200 km/h) in 8.7 seconds before reaching a maximum velocity in excess of 203 mph (325 km/h).

Following its official public unveiling next week at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Ferrari 488 Spider will go on sale before the end of the year.
