This Vacuum Cleaner Brand Just Built a 1.8 Second Electric Supercar
The moment Dreame rolled its first-ever concept car onto the CES 2026 show floor, it caught people off guard. Known globally for vacuum cleaners and smart home appliances, the Chinese brand made a bold leap into the automotive world with a four-door electric sports car that looks nothing like a beginner’s effort. Finished in a deep green with extensive carbon fiber detailing, the car immediately stood out under the Las Vegas lights.
This concept, now confirmed to be called the Kosmera Nebula 1, is not just about looks. Dreame equipped it with four electric motors delivering a combined 1,399 kW and 1,876 horsepower. According to the company, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 1.8 seconds, placing it firmly among the quickest electric performance cars ever announced. Active aerodynamics play a key role here, with visible elements such as a fixed rear wing and a dramatic dual-layer rear diffuser.
From the outside, the design leans heavily into sharp lines and aggressive proportions. The sloped hood, L-shaped headlights, full-width taillight bar, and six-spoke wheels give the car a futuristic yet grounded presence. Yellow brake calipers add contrast, while carbon fiber front pillars and lower body sections underline its performance intent. One interesting detail is the absence of visible door handles, a feature that hints this is still very much a concept.
Dreame’s automotive ambitions are serious. Founded by Yu Hao and integrated into the Xiaomi Ecological Chain in 2017, the company has confirmed plans for a new manufacturing facility in Berlin, developed alongside BNP Paribas. That move suggests global markets are clearly in focus, not just China.
While the interior remains under wraps, Dreame has already stated that its first production vehicle is planned for 2027. Whether the final road car looks exactly like this or not, the message is clear. Dreame is not testing the waters. It is diving straight into the deep end.
