This Is The 2027 BMW X7 Rendered From The New 7 Series

DPCcars has taken an interesting approach by imagining what the next BMW flagship sport utility vehicle could look like, using the upcoming 7 Series facelift as the foundation. Even though there is no official confirmation of a 2027 BMW X7 yet, BMW typically keeps its top sedan and sport utility vehicle closely aligned, which makes these predictions feel realistic.

From the front, the design is expected to evolve with a cleaner and sharper look. The split lighting setup seen on the 7 Series will likely carry over, featuring ultra-slim daytime running lights positioned high, while the main headlamps sit lower in the bumper. The large kidney grille remains a key element, but it appears more refined and integrated, giving the vehicle a stronger and more modern presence.

At the rear, the influence of the 7 Series continues. The tail lights are expected to become thinner and stretch wider across the body, creating a more planted stance. Subtle design changes in the lower bumper will likely reduce visual clutter and add a more premium feel, something BMW has been focusing on in recent updates.

Inside, major changes are expected. The next generation panoramic display system from the 7 Series could transform the cabin, replacing traditional gauges with a wide digital interface along the windshield. Rear passengers may continue to benefit from a large theater screen, pushing the X7 further into luxury territory.

Performance will likely mirror the 7 Series lineup. A turbocharged 3.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine producing around 375 horsepower, a plug in hybrid near 483 horsepower, and a twin turbocharged 4.4 liter V8 with about 536 horsepower are all expected. An all electric version could also follow, offering over 300 miles of range.
