Rezvani Dune: The 800 HP Huracan

Rezvani Dune: The 800 HP Huracan

Rezvani Motors has taken the Lamborghini Huracan in a direction few people expected. Instead of creating another track focused supercar, the company transformed it into a machine that looks ready to tackle sand dunes, rocky trails, and rough backroads. The result is called the Rezvani Dune, and it pushes the idea of an off road supercar much further than anything currently offered by a major manufacturer.

The changes go well beyond a simple suspension lift. The Dune receives a completely redesigned carbon fiber body with an aggressive wide stance, a roof scoop, and styling that would fit perfectly in a futuristic action movie. Ground clearance has also been increased with a 4.5 inch suspension lift, while massive 31 inch all terrain tires replace the low profile performance rubber normally found on the Huracan.

Power has also received a serious upgrade. The familiar 5.2 liter V10 engine is now fitted with a supercharger developed with VF Engineering, boosting output to an impressive 800 horsepower. That gives the Dune nearly 200 more horsepower than the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, creating a combination of extreme performance and genuine off road capability.

Rezvani plans to build only 7 examples, making this one of the rarest exotic vehicles on the market. Buyers can already reserve a production slot with a refundable $1,500 deposit, while every vehicle will be customized to match its owner’s preferences. Although pricing has not been announced, exclusivity and extensive customization mean it is unlikely to come cheap.

The Dune also raises an interesting question about the future of performance cars. Lamborghini has already hinted that the off road supercar formula could return one day, but until then, Rezvani has created one of the wildest interpretations of the Huracan ever built.
