Rare 1 of 50 McLaren 650S Le Mans edition

Rare 1 of 50 McLaren 650S Le Mans edition

The McLaren 650S is one at the top supercars today—it is a heavily upgraded version of the McLaren MP4-12C and has several shared components with the legendary McLaren P1. Recently, McLaren revealed just 50 examples of the McLaren 650S Le Mans edition. An even more extreme version of the McLaren 650S, this rare monster comes with a snorkel roof scoop, ultra light weight performance wheels, carbon fiber side blades and diffuser, special  emblems and much more. The rims are particularly special—they are inspired from the 1995 McLaren F1 GTR that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The McLaren F1 GTR won the race, making McLaren the first manufacturer to take first place on their first attempt it tried. McLaren’s special operations division, or MSO, produced this  supercar to commemorate the 20th anniversary of this iconic event. Less than 10 of these vehicles will make it stateside and this  supercar shown is one of them. The secretive collector even requested every engineer that worked on the vehicle, and McLaren CEO Ron Dennis, to sign the hood or engine. That’s pretty possible—most vehicle manufacturers don’t treat you well enough to completely personalize your vehicle. If that didn’t make the car special enough, it is also finished in a bright Tarocco Orange Elite Paint, while nearly every other example came in a Sarthe Grey paint.
