Rapper 50 Cent had $2 Million In Cash In His Lamborghini and now Bankrupt
In case you haven’t heard on the news, rapper 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy yesterday.
Court documents listed his both assets and debts to be between $10 million to $50 million.
So what happened to all that cash? A jury just ruled that he must pay $5 million in compensation to a woman after posting a sex tape of them without her permission.
But is he really broke? The bankruptcy filing is, more than likely, simply a way to avoid paying out that judgement.
A Chapter 11 filing doesn’t have to mean you’re broke; it could also mean you have cash flow issues.
But does 50 Cent really have cash flow problems? After all, here he is filling up the trunk of his Lamborghini Murcielago with $2 million in cash back in 2010.
