New Zeekr 7GT Revealed in Europe A Driver Focused Electric GT
The new Zeekr 7GT arrives in Europe with a clear message: this is an electric vehicle built for people who actually enjoy driving, not just commuting. Debuting at the Brussels Motor Show, the 7GT blends advanced Chinese electric vehicle technology with European design thinking and road tuning, creating a grand tourer that feels just as confident on a daily drive as it does on an open stretch of road. With a European launch date of January 9 and a starting price of €45,990, it positions itself as a serious new option in the premium electric performance space.
From the moment you sit inside, the driver focused approach is obvious. The seating position, wraparound center console, and overall cabin layout are designed to make the driver feel connected to the car rather than separated by screens and software. Zeekr designed and tuned the 7GT specifically for European roads, and that intention shows in how the car prioritizes balance and responsiveness over artificial sharpness. This is an electric vehicle that feels composed and predictable, whether you are navigating city traffic or pushing harder on a winding road.
The proportions underline its grand touring character. Measuring 4,817 millimeters long, 2,070 millimeters wide, and 1,456 millimeters tall, the 7GT has a wide, planted stance that gives it presence without feeling bulky. Beneath the body sits an advanced 800 volt electrical architecture, paired with either a 75 kilowatt hour or 100 kilowatt hour battery. Fast charging is a major highlight, with the ability to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in as little as 13 minutes under ideal conditions. In real world terms, that means less waiting and more driving, especially on longer trips.
Performance is equally impressive. The Zeekr 7GT can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in as little as 3.3 seconds, with a top speed of 210 kilometers per hour. Yet it is not just about straight line speed. The suspension setup uses a double wishbone front and five link rear layout, tuned to deliver both comfort and control. Larger performance brakes with improved cooling ensure consistent stopping power, even when the car is driven hard. Multiple drive modes allow the character of the car to change, from a relaxed everyday setting to a more focused sport mode that sharpens responses without becoming harsh.
Technology inside the cabin is extensive but thoughtfully integrated. A 35.5 inch augmented reality head up display works alongside a 13 inch digital instrument cluster to present essential information without overwhelming the driver. Safety and assistance systems include automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with towing support, and advanced parking assistance. Seven airbags and a reinforced body structure further underline Zeekr’s focus on occupant protection and peace of mind.
Practicality has not been forgotten. The 7GT offers comfortable seating for 5 passengers, a 456 liter luggage compartment, roof rack compatibility, ski storage solutions, camping oriented settings, and advanced towing capability. It is designed to handle everyday life just as confidently as weekend escapes. Ultra fast charging up to 480 kilowatts can add up to 340 kilometers of driving range in around 10 minutes, keeping long journeys simple and stress free.
Zeekr’s European expansion adds important context to this launch. With more than 640,000 vehicles sold globally since the brand’s debut in 2021, the 7GT represents the next step in its push into Europe as a premium challenger brand. It reflects Zeekr’s belief that electric vehicles can deliver emotion, connection, and genuine driving enjoyment, not just efficiency.
