NewGeely is taking direct aim at one of China’s hottest electric vehicles with the introduction of the new Galaxy TT, a sleek electric sports sedan that immediately draws comparisons to the Xiaomi SU7. Officially revealed at the Shanghai 1862 Fashion Art Centre, the new model combines sporty styling, advanced technology, and competitive performance in an effort to attract younger drivers looking for an exciting alternative in the growing electric vehicle market. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in August 2026.

At first glance, the Galaxy TT stands out with its low, fastback silhouette and athletic proportions. Measuring 4999 millimeters long, 1919 millimeters wide, and 1479 millimeters tall, with a generous 2920 millimeter wheelbase, the sedan has the stance of a premium performance car. Geely also focused heavily on aerodynamics, giving the TT a width to height ratio of 1.3 to improve airflow while emphasizing its planted appearance. Buyers will have plenty of personalization options as well, with 8 exterior colors that include Fjord Blue, Olive Green, and Sunny Noon Blue.

The new sedan rides on an advanced 800 volt electrical architecture and uses lithium ion battery packs supplied by Contemporary Amperex Technology Company Limited, better known as CATL. Customers can choose between battery capacities of 52.4 kilowatt hours, 63.8 kilowatt hours, or 75.2 kilowatt hours depending on the model. Those configurations deliver China Light Duty Vehicle Test Cycle driving ranges of 540 kilometers, 640 kilometers, 650 kilometers, or up to 725 kilometers, making the Galaxy TT suitable for both everyday commuting and longer road trips.

Performance also varies depending on the selected drivetrain. The standard version sends power to the rear wheels through a single electric motor produced by Wuxi Xingqu Drive Technology Company Limited. That motor generates 245 kilowatts of power. Drivers seeking stronger acceleration can step up to the dual motor all wheel drive model, which combines front and rear electric motors for a total system output of 425 kilowatts.

The exterior design includes several premium touches that help distinguish the Galaxy TT from other electric sedans. The front fascia features distinctive Floating Star Diamond headlamps positioned above an aggressive three section lower air intake. Around the back, an electronically controlled active rear spoiler adjusts through 3 positions and can generate as much as 508 newtons of downforce when fully deployed at a 22.5 degree angle. A full width Star Diamond light bar containing 108 light emitting diode elements gives the rear of the vehicle a unique nighttime appearance.

Inside the cabin, Geely has focused on combining technology with everyday practicality. Buyers can choose from 4 interior themes, including Mellow Red and Rock Black. The dashboard features the second generation Flyme Auto operating system, which controls a digital instrument display, a large central touchscreen, and a wide augmented reality head up display. The premium sound system also incorporates 3 specially designed speakers inspired by traditional Chinese design elements.

Storage is another highlight of the Galaxy TT. A 110 liter front trunk provides extra cargo space, while the rear luggage compartment offers 475 liters of upper storage and an additional 53 liters below the main cargo floor. Practical features continue inside with a 12 liter sliding glove compartment, an 8.5 liter storage drawer beneath the rear seats, and a 5.2 liter heated and cooled storage compartment. Multiple magnetic and threaded mounting points are also integrated throughout the cabin, allowing owners to attach a variety of accessories.

Driver assistance technology will depend on the trim level. Entry level models receive Geely’s standard suite of assistance features, while higher trims add a roof mounted laser sensor as part of an upgraded intelligent driving system. The advanced hardware had already appeared in official Chinese regulatory filings before the vehicle made its public debut, confirming its arrival ahead of launch.

The Galaxy TT enters an increasingly competitive segment for Geely. Recent sales figures show the Galaxy M7 leading the brand with 7024 deliveries during May 2026, representing 23.4 percent of total sales. The Galaxy E5 followed with 5155 units sold, while the Galaxy E8 attracted only 262 buyers.
