New 2027 Honda Prelude Limited Edition Is Here

New 2027 Honda Prelude Limited Edition Is Here

Honda is giving the reborn Prelude an even more exclusive look with the new 2027 Honda Prelude Limited Edition, a special version created for the European market following the model’s debut in Japan.

The biggest visual change is the exclusive Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic exterior finish. The deep red color emphasizes the Prelude’s smooth coupe profile and is matched with red accents on the front and rear bumpers. Honda completes the exterior treatment with red Brembo brake calipers and 19 inch black cut alloy wheels, giving the car a sportier appearance without moving away from its clean design.

The changes continue inside, where Honda has created a Bordeaux colored cabin using premium materials and contrasting red details. Red stitching appears across the steering wheel, center console, dashboard, front seats and door trim. Special floor mats receive matching red accents, while an embroidered Prelude logo on the dashboard adds another detail unique to the Limited Edition.

Mechanically, Honda keeps the familiar Prelude hybrid setup. The car uses Honda’s e:HEV hybrid system together with Honda S+ Shift, which is designed to give the electrified coupe a more engaging and responsive driving character. Honda says the inspiration behind the new Prelude comes from the smooth and effortless sensation of a glider rather than the aggressive character traditionally associated with sports cars.

The Prelude name first appeared nearly 50 years ago, and this latest generation brings it into the electrified era with a combination of coupe styling, hybrid technology and a more premium cabin.

The 2027 Honda Prelude Limited Edition will be offered as a limited run across Europe, with availability beginning in autumn 2026. Honda has not announced production numbers in the provided release, making it unclear just how limited this special version will be.
