Glickenhaus SCG003C On The Nürburgring – Video

A little more than two weeks from now, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus wants to beat an entire army of Mercedes-AMG and Audi R8 LMS GT3 cars at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

 

At first, that may sound crazy coming from a small privateer team, but SCG’s speed is right up there. The 003 Competizione, their Italian-designed and Honda-powered race car, ran a crazy fast qualifying lap, only to do another once the track got a bit drier, shaving another two seconds off that time to set the fastest lap of the race.

 

That’s no joke. If the car stays reliable and can avoid crashing throughout those 24 hours, then they really have a chance.
