Genesis Magma GT and New 2027 Hyundai Elantra Make Huge Debut

The 2026 Busan Mobility Show gave Hyundai Motor Group plenty to celebrate with the debut of an updated Hyundai Avante, known globally as the Hyundai Elantra, alongside 2 exciting Genesis performance machines. The event highlighted the company’s future direction by combining a practical new sedan with cutting edge performance technology.

The refreshed Hyundai Avante arrives with a sharper exterior, redesigned lighting, and a cleaner front fascia that follows Hyundai’s latest design language. Inside, drivers can expect upgraded digital displays, improved connectivity, and the newest driver assistance systems. Although it remains a practical compact sedan, the latest model brings a more premium feel while continuing to focus on efficiency and everyday usability.

Genesis also attracted attention with the Magma Grand Touring Concept. The low and wide performance coupe features dramatic styling, aggressive aerodynamic elements, and signature Two Line lighting. It previews the future of the Genesis Magma performance brand and hints at what future high performance road cars from the luxury manufacturer could look like.

Standing alongside the concept was the Genesis GMR 001 Hypercar, the company’s latest endurance racing machine. Built for international competition, the prototype combines a lightweight carbon fiber chassis with a powerful twin turbocharged 3.2 liter V8 engine and a hybrid system developed for top level endurance racing. The project represents Genesis’ growing commitment to motorsports as it prepares to compete against some of the world’s biggest manufacturers.

Together, these 3 vehicles made Hyundai Motor Group one of the biggest attractions at the 2026 Busan Mobility Show. From an affordable sedan to an advanced concept and a purpose built race car, the company demonstrated that it is investing in innovation across every part of the automotive industry.
