Denza Z Coupe and Spider With 1,604 HP

Denza is pushing deeper into the performance car world with the Denza Z family, and the Coupe and Spider show just how serious the brand has become about challenging established supercars.

Both models are built around Denza’s e³ sports car platform and use a 3 motor electric powertrain producing an impressive 1,604 horsepower. The Denza Z Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 2.25 seconds, while the open top Denza Z Spider completes the same run in around 2.3 seconds.

Straight line speed is only part of the story. Denza developed the Z around advanced chassis technology designed to make the car feel agile and controlled at high speeds. Independent electric motors allow power to be managed precisely at each driven wheel, while sophisticated suspension and steering systems are intended to give the driver greater control through corners.

The Coupe takes the more focused approach, with a low roofline, aggressive proportions and an aerodynamic shape that gives it the appearance of a serious track machine. The Spider removes the fixed roof and turns the same basic formula into something more dramatic. Its open cabin gives drivers a completely different experience without sacrificing the extreme performance that defines the Z family.

Denza has also been putting these cars in front of international audiences, showing that the Z is much more than a design exercise. With 1,604 horsepower, acceleration approaching 2 seconds and striking supercar styling, the Coupe and Spider represent a major change in what people may expect from Denza.
