The Mustang Dark Horse SC starts in a similar range once Track Pack options are added, but Ford positions it more directly against ultra high performance sports cars instead of luxury sedans.

In many ways, these two vehicles represent the final chapter of American gasoline performance. The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing feels like a farewell letter to analog driving, especially with its manual transmission and old school supercharged V8 character. The Mustang Dark Horse SC feels like the evolution of modern muscle cars into true supercar territory.

The hardest part about choosing between them comes down to personality. The Cadillac is the car for someone who wants luxury, comfort, daily usability, and emotional driver engagement all in one package. The Mustang is for someone who wants maximum drama, raw power, aggressive styling, and track focused performance every time they press the throttle. Neither choice is wrong.
