Bentley Unleashes the 2027 Continental GT S and GTC S Performance Models
We have new information on Bentley’s latest performance focused grand tourers, and the Continental GT S and Continental GTC S feel like a clear statement of intent. These models are not about chasing luxury trends. They are about the joy of driving, the sound, the response, and that moment when the road opens up and the car feels alive beneath you. Inspired by the limited Supersports models of the past, the new S versions bring a sharper edge to the Continental lineup while keeping the refinement Bentley is known for.
Power comes from Bentley’s new high performance hybrid setup, pairing a 4.0 liter V8 with electric assistance to produce a combined 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque. That is a serious jump over the previous generation, and you feel it immediately. Acceleration is relentless, with 0 to 60 miles per hour arriving in just 3.3 seconds, and the car continuing all the way to a 190 mile per hour top speed. Even more impressive is that this hybrid system outperforms the old W12 Speed in every measurable way, while still offering up to 50 miles of electric only driving when you want something calmer.
The driving experience is backed up by Bentley Performance Active Chassis technology, previously reserved for the Speed and Mulliner models. This includes active all wheel drive, advanced dampers, torque vectoring, active anti roll control, an electronic limited slip differential, and all wheel steering. Together, it gives the S models a confidence and agility that encourages you to push, while still feeling composed and predictable.
Visually, the S models look purpose built. Gloss black details, dark exterior accents, unique wheels, and smoked lighting elements give the car a lower, more aggressive stance. Inside, the cabin mirrors that sporting focus with unique two tone upholstery, fluted seats, Dinamica trim on key touch points, and dark finishes that make the interior feel driver centered rather than decorative.
Bentley’s grand touring range now offers something for every personality, and the Continental GT S and GTC S land right in the sweet spot for drivers who want emotion as much as elegance.
